Rotary Joints For Continuous Coolant Services
Continuous Coolant Service Rotary Joints Used For The Passage Of Coolant Through The Machine Tool Spindles Rotating at High Speed.
The Type-MSJ61 is high speed dry run coolant rotary joint with a cut off characteristics popularly known as pop off characteristics for water based coolant and MQL. These are of compact design with balanced seal faces, Multi Springs and a pair of ball bearing to maintain alignment of rotor. A pair of slinger set protects the bearings from direct contact with coolant in case of seal leakage.
Single Passage Dry Run Coolant Rotary Joints
MSJ61 Rotary Joints
- Single passage for coolant or MQL
- Pop off seals optional for transfer line and similar applications
- Full-flow design has no obstructions to trap swarf or debris
- Bearing-supported with threaded rotor for easy installation
- Bearing isolator and vents to protect ball bearings
- Balanced mechanical seals made from silicon carbide for long life even under difficult operating conditions
- Anodized aluminum housing and Stainless Steel rotor resist corrosion
- Low torque and weight optimized design
